The idea for Clammys* arose in an indoor cycling class amidst loud music, black lights and lots of (my) sweat.  I thought "#@$!x*, these handles are really wet and gross!  There must be a better solution than simply draping my towel across the handlebars."  Then it hit me (as they say).  "Why don't I put the towels AROUND the handlebars instead of ACROSS them?"  Thus Clammys were born and here we are.
